How to Login RicherLink Fiber OLT?

Richerlink FTTH GPON and EPON OLT used in a fiber network to distribute an internet connection to multiple users using PON model and fiber splitter. If you are using Richerlink OLT (optical line termination) to provide an internet connection to users or using a fiber network for your office network distribution. You need to setup Richerlink fiber OLT configuring the first-time installation but later you need to Login OLT to manage and configure fiber ONT connected to the client end.

Richerlink EPON OLT ends GEPON OLT both comes with many different models based on PON ports, Richer Link RL8016G GPON OLT, RL8008GL GPON OLT with 16 PON port and 8PON port GPONs. But login steps for any models are the same just the number of PON ports gives you more connection captivity. You need to connect PC/Laptop either using wired from management port to login fiber OLT with default login settings.

Richerlink OLT default Login IP address– 192.168.77.254 or 192.168.20.1

Default login username– admin

Default Password– admin

Fiber OLT Connection

Connect the PON module to the PON port to connect the fiber cable to the splitter network with multiple fiber ONT.
Connect Internet cable to Uplink port Ethernet or Fiber as per your OLT models.
Connect PC/Laptop LAN port to OLT MGM port for login Web GUI.

Open a web browser such as Chrome, Mozilla, or Internet explorer and access http://192.168.77.254 or http://192.168.2O.1 to the URL bar.

You will get a richer link OLT login page asking for a username and password to authenticate.

Use “admin” for username and password to log in to fiber OLT the first time.

Press the Login button to access the OLT control panel. You can also login OLT the using console port to access in serial port for the configuration of OLT if you are good at configuration commands.

After login, you need to configure PORT, VLAN, and create a new DBA profile, Set the ONT authentication type and other basic configurations that need to be set up before using OLT in the network.

Change Login Password from Web GUI

Most Fiber OLT such as DBC, Syrotech, VSOL, Huawei, and others use the default password “admin” so it is strongly recommended to change the default login password during the first-time login.

Go to System Configuration- User Management

Advanced User Management

Username- admin

Password- admin (Old password)

New Password- Create a new Login password

Confirm New Password- confirm the new password to avoid any spelling mistakes.

Press the Modify button to save settings and login OLT with a new password.

Tips to change Password

Always create a stronger password that is hard to guess and easy to remember.
Never use personal details such as Mobile number, Date of birth, and address in the password.
Use Alfa numeric and special character combination passwords.
