Access Router Web interface to Browser

Authentication Type- WPA2-PSK/WPA-PSK

WPA Mode- Hex

WPA2-Passphrase (WiFI Key)– new WIFI password (create new wifi password with a combination of special character, alfa numeric)

Press Apply button to save settings and connect your mobile, Laptop, and other wifi devices with a new wifi name and password.

Change Login Password

Also, update the default login password to protect router settings access from users who are connected to your internet.

For Sweex broadband router Go to MISCSLogin ID and Password Setup option from the left side menu.

For different routers go to the system or Administrator settings option.

Username – Sweex (cannot change for sweex router)

Current password– Sweex (use your current password used for login)

New Password– Create a new login password

Confirm password– Confirm the new password again.

Press Apply button to confirm settings and log in with a new password for further configurations.

If you are unable to access the router using the default login IP  192.168.55.1 not working for your router but or getting a wrong username and password error while trying to access the router settings then you should factory reset the router to restore into default mode.

Press a small reset switch for 10-15 seconds to restore into default mode and setup again from start.
