Login GX FTTH ONT/ ONU Device

Step by step user guide to login GX ONT and ONU device installed at the client end to deliver internet through the fiber cable.

GX Fiber ONT /ONU Login User Guide

GX Genexis Group provides a total fiber solution from Fiber OLT to Fiber ONT installed at the Subscriber end. This article useful for you either you are an Internet provider or an Internet Subscriber. GX group a Netherlands based brand whos provide fiber ONU and other product internationally. If you are using the GX group ONT series or GPON OLT or EPON OLT then you should bookmark this article. There are the some different ONT series used word wide is PLATINUM 4410, EARTH 1010,EARTH P4200R,EARTH 1000R,EARTH 4220RF,TITANIUM 2122A,EARTH 4222,TITANIUM 4211.Genexis GX ONT model number reflects feature and hardware specification and feature can get from datasheet available on the GX website.

However, you need to login to GX ONU unit with either wired or wireless connectivity for WIFI supported ONT to access the web interface and change configuration. Before proceeding to the login process you must know the default login settings for GX ont device those also printed to the unit sticker pasted at the bottom side.

Default Login Credential for GX Fiber ONU/ONT

GX FTTH ONT used default password mac address of the device in the some of model that is also printed to ONT sticker with all login details. Find the GX login username and password below if you lost ONT sticker.

Default Login IP Address- 192.168.1.1

GX ONT Login Username– admin

ONT Login Password– “ONT Mac address” or “admin” or “Password” or “1234”

Find ONT Login details bottom side the ONT sticker as shown below image.

Note all the login information or take picture of the sticker and proceed to login ONT device.

Steps to Login GX FTTH Earth 1010 R ONT

The first step is the connection with ONT Unit either using wired or wireless. You can use the default WIFI name and password to connect wirelessly if your ONT model supports WIFI. For Non- WIFI ONT you have only a wired connection option so follow the steps.

Connect GX ONU using Ethernet port with standard LAN cable to PC/Laptop LAN port or use WIFI name and password printed to sticker for the WIFI connection.
Fiber cable coming from Internet provider should be connected to PON port so keep it.
Use DC adapter comes with GX ONU Unit to power ON ONU.
Go to Computer/Laptop LAN IP settings and change to DHCP mode or use 192.168.l.2 as static IP to access GX default IP.

Login To Web GUI

Open a Web browser such as Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer, and access http://192.168.1.1 ad wait a while login page loading.

Provide Login username and password and verify captcha to confirm you are not a bot.

Press the Login button to enter in ONT control panel.

Once you login to the ONT settings page now configure Internet settings in WAN option as provided you ISP or keep it if already configured by your internet providers.

Go to Wireless settings to change the default WIFI name and password to protect your wifi internet.

Change Wi-FI SSID Network name and Password

Go to the WLAN option from the top menu to configure wireless settings.

SSID: Earth1010 (change this default WIFI name as per your choice)

Channel Width: 40Mhz

Channel: Auto

Radio Power: 100% (you can reduce radio tx power if your home and office area small size.)

Associated Clients: Show Active ELAN Clients ( here you can see all wifi user mobile and Laptop connected your ONT device)

Apply Changes- press thebutton to save settings and go to the Security option to update the wifi name.

Note: After changing wifi name you will be disconnected if you are connected to WIFI, so connected again with WIFI SSID.

Login and Setup SyroTech ONT/ONU Device

Change Wireless Security key

Go to WLAN- Security

WLAN Security Settings

SSID Type: ROOT AP-Earth 1010 (choose your WIFI SSID name you created)

Encryption- WPA2-Mixed

Authentication Mode; Personal (PRE-Shared key)

WPA Cipher Suite- AES

Press Shared Key format- passphrase

Pre-Shared Key- Create WIFI name here (set a stronger WIFI password using Mix key combination included the special character.

Press Apply Changes to confirm settings and re-connect again with new Wi-FI name and password from all wifi devices.

The next important step is to change the default Login password to protect ONT web interface access from user connected to WIFI or wired networks.

Change Login Password

Changing Login username and password for GX Fiber ONT device is simple like making other configurations.

Go to the Admin tab from the top menu as shown below the image.

Password Configuration

Username- admin (select if you created any other username and want to update the password for same)

OLT password- Use the same password you used for login.

New password- Create a new login password.

Confirm password- Provide a new password again to confirm.

Press Apply Changed button to save settings and keep remember your login password required to access the GX ONU the web interface.

Logout ONT and login with the new password again to confirm that password was successfully changed.

This is a simple configuration user manual for GX Fiber ONT device that can use for any model including GPON ONT, XPON ONT as well as EPON ONT. If you are facing any login issue or Login IP address not working for your ONT then you must reset the GF fiber ONT to restore default settings or contact your Internet providers to set up again.
