How to Login SyroTech OLT [GPON/EPON]?

OLT (Optical Line Termination) is used in the Fiber network to distribute the internet with multiple connections using PON (passive optical network) and last-mile connection ONT (Optical Network Termination). If you are an internet service provider or you might use a Fiber network for your office and factory internet connection then this article is useful for you. This post will help you to log in the FTTH OLT web interface to set up the first time or later for PON and other configurations.

Although login steps for Syrotech Fiber OLT and any other brands are almost the same, only the login IP address is different from that also printed on OLT sticker. Fiber OLT unit is available from 2PON port, 4Port, 8 Ports 16PON port, and more. For uplink Ethernet gigabit and fiber 10Gb port available and can use as per the connection type available whether fiber uplink or Cat6. Management port and console port available for configuration of SyroTech FTTH OLT, Consol port would use for command-line configuration and management port for configuring OLT from the web Gui interface.

Default Login settings for SyroTech OLT

The default login IP address and username password can differ for EPON OLT and GPON OLT which are usually printed on the sticker of the OLT unit.

You can use the default login Credentials for Syrotech GEPON and EPON fiber OLT as given below.

List of Default Login IP Address, Username and password

SyroTech OLT IP Address GPON / EPON– 192.168.8.100 or 192.168.8.200

Default username – admin

Syrotech OLT password– admin or Syro@43210$

Steps to Login GPON/EPON OLT Device

If you looking to access a new fiber OLT web interface for the first time then you need a physical connection with your network and OLT. If your OLT device is already configured to network and you only looking to log in then you just connect the computer to the MGM port or uplink port.

Connect the OLT uplink port to an internet connection either fiber port or Ethernet depending on the OLT uplink type and your internet input type.
Connect the computer LAN port to the OLT Management port to the Ethernet Port to access the settings page.
The PON Module should be plugged into the PON port and connected fiber cable to distribute the internet using a fiber splitter up to 64 ONT devices (optical network terminal).
