The Setl fiber ONT is compatible with Stel Fiber GPON OLT and EPON OLT as well as some third-party brands.
Although StelFiber ONT is configured by the internet service provider during the first time installation of an internet connection you should change the wireless name and password from time to time to make your wifi more secure. There are simple steps to login Stel fiber ONT modem just like accessing any other brand’s ONU device. Default login IP address for Stel fiber Router printed to sticker along with default admin username and password.
Find the default password for stell fiber modem available on the bottom side sticker for default login and you can change the admin password as per your choice to protect ONT access from users connected to the internet. Locate the ONT sticker for the default ONT login information printed along with the default IP address. Find the default username and password for your Stelfiber FTTH Modem with complete login steps.
Default IP address- 192.168.1.1
Default username– admin
Default password– useradmin
Find the default login credential for your stelfiber FTTH fiber modem and follow the steps to log in from the browser.
There are two ways to login Stel fiber ONU modem using a wired LAN connection or using a wireless connection from a laptop or mobile. If your Stel fiber ONT does not support WLAN then you can only use a LAN cable to access modem settings.
Get Internet WAN information from your ISP to configure WAN settings that depend on your internet type such as Static IP, PPPoE, and DHCP mode with VLAN ID if using internet and voice service.
Default Network name and SSID and configured in a default mode that is also printed to ONT sticker and is not safe to use.
Go to the WLAN option from the top menu as shown below image.

Band 2.4GHz (B+G+N) if the dual band chooses 5Ghz band after configuring 2.4GHz.
Mode- AP
SSID- GPON (change this default SSID name to a new WIFI name as per your choice for your wifi network)
Channel Width: 20/40MHz
Channel Number: Auto
Apply Change– After all settings press Apply changes button save settings and follow the next step to change Wireless Security.
Default Stelfiber admin password printed to ONT modem sticker so its important to update the security key.
Follow the steps to change the Stel fiber wifi password.

SSID Type: ROOT AP (select the SSID name you wish to change Password)
Authentication type- Personal (Pre-Shared Key)
WPA Cipher suite- TKIP AES
WPA2 Cipher suite- TKIP AES
Preshared key format- passphrase
Preshared key- 123456789 (change this default WIFI key as per new wifi password for your wifi network)
Press Apply Changes and connect all WIFI users and devices again with the new wifi name and password.
After the WIFI password change also change the default admin login password to protect router access from unauthorized.
The Stel fiber’s default login password is “useradmin” that also printed on the router sticker.
Go to the Admin tab from the top menu.
Admin- Change password
Change admin login password
Old password- useradmin
New password- Create new admin password.
Confirm new password- confirm new admin password for stelfiber ONT modem.
Save settings and keep the login password safe with you and avoid writing new passwords over the ONT sticker so it’s protected.
If you facing any problems while trying to access the Fiber ONT modem login IP address and are unable to get the login page or the IP address not working or might default IP address already changed.
Factory reset Stel fiber using the reset button to restore default settings if you forget the login password.
Press the reset button for 10 seconds and wait until stel fiber modem reboots and restores to default configurations.
