You need to connect either WiFi or Wired connection with your Fiber ONU device installed with fiber cable at your home. Press the Login button and you will be entered to the status page after successful authentications. The next and important step is to change default wireless settings to protect wifi from unknown access.
Huawei ONT comes with single and dual-band so for dual-band ONT you have to configure both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz wifi settings.
Go to the WLAN tab from the top menu as shown below image.

SSID Name- Create New WiFI SSID for Huawei ONT 2Ghz band.
Number of Associated– 32 default ( you can specify total number wifi user can connect your Wi-Fi)
Authentication Mode– WPA/WPA2 PSK Pre-shared Key
WPA Pre-shared Key– Create a stronger WIFI password for your ONT.
Press the Apply Save button to confirm configuration and go to the 5G Basic Network Settings tab to configure 5Ghz Wireless Band settings.
Create a WIFI name and password 5Ghz band and save settings. You can use the same SSID and password as configured in 2.4GHz for both bands.
The next highly recommended steps change the Login password during the first time setup to protect ONT access from users connected to the network.
You must change the default login password for FTTH ONT Router, Modem, and any other network device during the first-time login.
Go to System Tools from the top menu.
System Tools- Modify Login Password
The login password is the default one. Change it immediately.
Username- telecomadmin or user admin depends on the model.
OLD password- provide old password use for login.
New Password- create New login password.
Confirm Password- Provide a new password again.
Press Apply settings.
