Netlink GPON OLT is powered by VSOL company so the Login manual for VSOL, Netlink, Syrotech, Optilink all are the same. There are many types of PON port OLT available depending on the requirement. Most of the used GPON and EPON OLT 4PON, 8PON ports, and 16 PON ports. PON port is used to distribute multiple client end ONT devices to distribute internet using fiber splitter and ONU device. In this article, you will get a simple step-by-step user manual to Login the Netlink GPON OLT device for the first time using the default username and password.
Before proceeding to login OLT web interface you must know the OLT model number and login credential that printed to Sticker at box and OLT device bottom or backside. PON port used to connect fiber connection to distribute using splitter and ONT device at customer end. The uplink port is used to connect the internet cable for uplink and management port for configuring OLT device using Web management and console port available for command-line configuration using the serial port. While buying a new OLT device you also get a quick user guide and a quick installation guide to get brief detail about the port and accessories that come with the device.
Default Login Settings for Netlink OLT
You required a default username and Netlink OLT password to access the web interface from a browser that you can find to OLT sticker.
Netlink V1600G1 OLT Management Login IP address– 192.168.8.200
Netlink Login Username– admin
Default Password for 8 Port GPON OLT– Xpon@Olt94173
For Old model FTTH OLT device password– admin or password.

Step to Login Netlink GEPON/GPON/EPON OLT
The connection method and login method same for GPON, EPON, GEPON Fiber OLT device only login IP addresses might be different depending on the OLT models that you can get from the OLT sticker.
- Connect LAN cable to Management from OLT device to PC/Laptop LAN port.
- Go to PC/Laptop LAN settings and use static IP – 192.168.8.201 (use PC LAN IP from 192.168.8.1 series)
- Power ON OLT unit and wait to boot OLT properly. You can ping the OLT login IP address.
- Connect internet input cable to Uplink ports depending on the input type either Fiber uplink or Ethernet Uplinks.
Login OLT to a Web browser
Now open a web browser and access http://192.168.8.200 and wait to load the login page web management.
You will OLT web management interface page with username and password input.
Provide username and password and press the Submit button to enter into the OLT web interface control panel.
After login into the OLT management console, you can configure VLAN, LAN settings, Create a DBA profile, and other configurations.
Change OLT Login Password
After login, the most important step is to protect the login password of the OLT device to secure your FTTH network from unauthorized access.
Go to System Configuration- User management
You will get all user details and login details under management.
Username– admin
Old username– provide default password.
New Password– create a new login password for OLT
Confirm password– Confirm the password again to avoid spell mistakes.
Save settings and log in with the new password.
If you are facing a login error or a default IP address not working in the browser then you can reset OLT to factory mode and configure it again. Make sure you have a configuration backup file so you can restore it after factory reset OLT.
Factory Reset Netlink FTTH OLT
Making a factory reset will erase all configurations saved in the OLT device so make sure you have a configuration backup file to restore again otherwise your network will disconnect until OLT set up again.
- Locate a small reset beside PON ports.
- Use a paper pin or needle and press the reset button for 8-10 seconds.
- Release the button when all LED lights blink and the OLT device reboots.
- This process may take 2-3 minutes until restoring OLT to default mode.
- Ping OLT default login IP and setup it again.
This reset method also works with Netlink EPON, XPON, OLT, and ONU devices, and you can use it for Optilink, Syrotech OLT factory reset.
