How to Login OptiLink Fiber ONT/ONU?
Optilink is one of the competitors of SyroTech, Netlink, VSOL, and other fiber equipment suppliers the interesting thing is the source of all brands are the same so using this tutorial you can set up and log in to any of the brand’s fiber OLT, ONT unit. If you have any of the models of Optilink Fiber ont GPON, Optilink XPON ONT, and ONT with WIFI then this article going to use for you so you must bookmark this post.
Initial Fiber EPON ONT started with a fiber network but now the network upgrade to GPON Fiber connectivity but the setup and login steps for GPON ONT and EPON ONT are almost the same in client-side ONT device. Although ONT is also configured from OLT device without login to the ONU device web interface, if you are a subscriber you must know how to change the ONT WIFI name to secure your home internet. In this post, we try to make a simple configuration manual for Setup Optilink ONT and ONU devices that you can do even without having any technical skills.
Default Login Credential for Optilink ONT
To access the ONU web interface you need login settings that are usually printed to device stickers with Mac addresses and other hardware information.
Find Optilink ONT modem router default settings printed to the ONT label first.
IF the sticker is damaged or uses old ONT then try the default settings given below.
Optilink Default Login IP address– 192.168.101.1 or 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.100.1 (Depend on your ONT Models)
Optilink Default ONT Username– adminisp or admin
Default password– adminisp or admin
Steps to Connect Optilink Fiber ONT
The next step is the connection with FTTH ONT to access web GUI from web browsers to change settings.
If fiber ONT is installed by your internet provider and internetworking then don’t unplug the fiber cable from the PON port.
If you Connection ONU the first time then follow the steps below.
• Connect Fiber cable to PON port (blue color)
• Connect LAN cable to computer/Laptop LAN port for configurations
• Power ON ONT device with DC adapter comes with the unit.
Login Fibre ONT Settings
Open the web browser and access ONT Login IP http://192.168.101.1 or http://192.168.100.1 as printed to your ont model. Wait a few seconds to load the login page.
Provide login username and password for the Optilink ONT device.

Press the Login button to access settings. After login, the next step is to set up internet WAN settings.
Configure WAN Internet setting
You need to configure ONT for internet settings as per your internet type from DHCP, STATIC, or PPPoE.
Ask your internet providers for Static IP or PPPoE IP address settings depending on the internet type.s
Go to the Internet – Internet Config tab
WAN COnfig
WAN Connection name- Internet
Mode- Route
Connection Mode- IPv4
Choose your connection mode from DHCP, Static IP, or PPPoE.
Provide the settings as per the internet type as shown below.
Enable the NAT option and after providing, internet wan settings press the save & apply button to configure configurations.
After WAN settings next step is to change the Wireless SSID name for ONT Wifi and secure your internet.
Change Wireless SSID Name and password
You must update the default SSID and password for the Optilink router, ONT, Modem, or any other wifi router.
This configuration was created with Optilink ONT 91001w WiFI ONU modem so if you have a different model just follow the steps.
Internet – WLAN COnfig
BAND- 2.4 GHz(BGN)
1: SSID– Opti link default wifi name (change this name to a new name as per your choice)
2- Save & Apply – save and apply settings
3: Advanced
Change WiFi Password for ONT
SSID Type- Root AP
Network Authentication mode- WPA2-PSK (recommended)
Network Key– ONT_WiFI_password (create a new stronger password for optilink ONT wifi network).
Press Save/Apply button you confirm the configuration.
Now basic configuration has been done your ONT unit is ready to connect internet and wiFi users to provide high-speed internet connection over wired or WiFi networks.
One more setting you should not ignore while setup the first time is changing the Login password for Optilink Fiber ONT.
Change Login Password
Go to management
Account setting-Change Password
Old Password– adminisp
New password– create a new password
Confirm password– Confirm the new password again
Save/Apply settings and login ONT with a new password.
This is a basic configuration guide for the Optilink FTTH ONT ONU unit installed at the client end unit.
