Access Router Web Interface
You need to connect the router using wired if non-wireless modem or router and wired or wireless if support both options.
- Connect a LAN cable from router LAN port or use WiFi SSID to connect using wireless if WLAN compatible modem or router.
- Go to PC LAN IP settings and make sure it’s in DHCP mode to get IP from the router DHCP server.
- Power ON router with DC adapter included with the router.
- Internet cable coming from ISP should be connected to the WAN port so keep it as it is.
- Open a web browser and access http://192.168.1.3 and wait for a few movements until the login page loading.
- Provide username and password for first-time default settings and if already changed use the same password.
- After login to the router, you will control a panel where you can find wireless settings, LAN settings, WN settings, Port forwarding, and other security feature that you can configure to protect your internet.
Change Wireless SSID and Password
If your modem or router supports Wireless then you should update the WiFI network and password during the first-time login.
Go to Wireless- Basic wireless
WiFI SSID – Change the WiFI SSID network name as per your choice.
WiFi Security– WPA2-PSK
Key- Create a wifi security key here.
Save settings and connect again with the new WiFi name and security key.

If you are unable to access the router using 192168.1 3 and getting the site can’t reach error or taking a too long time to respond. Before accessing the IP address to the browser first open the command and ping 192.168.1.3 to make sure the router is accessible.

Follow the below steps to fix the login error while accessing the router with the default IP address.
- Make sure the default IP address you are using to access the router also printed to the router sticker.
- If your router already configured then check if the default gateway IP address not changed with different IP or new IP series.
- Check if PC/Laptop IP settings using DHCP mode or in the same series IP address. EXP- 192.168.1.2 or any other from the same series.

Reset Router from Reset Switch
Making router reset will erase all configuration and need to set up again to run the internet. If you don’t have a configuration backup file or internet settings detail then don’t reset.
- Locate a small reset button beside Ethernet or bottom side.
- Press the reset button for 5-10 seconds and release it while the led light automatically blinks and rebooting.
- The router will automatically reboot and take a few seconds and restore settings into default mode.
- Once router reset done ping 192.168.1.3 and after getting a reply from IP address follow the above steps again.
